2019 is coming to an end. It has been a tumultuous year for the Kasznia family. When I finally come to grips about what happened, I will see it is really for the good. (Still not there yet; I have good days and bad days.)
I had to take a break from my publishing, not my writing, because of personal business. My husband and I decided to downsize due to changes in the job market. It was not an easy decision to make and I resisted it for so long. But six months later and lighter ( we sold 75% of our stuff). We now live in a smaller house and a new neighborhood which is exciting.
It is still in Texas, only twelve miles away from our old house but it’s closer to Fort Worth which is a really neat city. I love exploring the rural towns that I never knew existed. We live amongst many huge ranches which I really love. I am an animal person and I love seeing horses, cattle and buffalo grazing on the fields. We even have a camel farm near us. By the way, camels do not like cold weather.
I’m making new friends and meeting new people while still in touch with old friends. However, don’t get me started about mail delivery. I swear, it’s still in the Pony Express days. I wouldn’t be surprised to see my postal worker on horseback delivering the mail…. just kidding.
But I’m looking forward to the new year and I will continue to write and hopefully, get my stories published!
